What a time it has been with Mars in Gemini for the last seven months and retrograde since 30th October 2022!
Mars first moved into Gemini for its seven-month foray on 20th August 2022. And, sure enough, fiery conversation and sparky retorts became the name of the game from that day on for many of us!
We have had months now of miscommunication, angry words on the world stage, technology glitches and fast takeovers (think Twitter), layoffs and protests of all kinds on the streets across the world.
On a personal level, Mars in Gemini may have inspired many of you to take action on deciding what your 2023 goals are. Even while Mars has been retrograde, and despite the ongoing miscommunication you may be experiencing, we can still move forward!
Unlike Mercury in retrograde, Mars in retrograde has often meant that miscommunications and technology challenges get sorted quite fast.
So, Mars turning direct on 12th January 2023 is like having a super-highway in front of us after a long stretch of windy and uncertain road.
A whole new world
It is like Mars is clearing the runway for when Saturn moves into Pisces on the 7th March 2023, which will herald a whole new world marked by far more humanitarian rules and a fresh order.
Remember we are still living in the last vestiges of a phase of time in-between worlds. We have broken down our old world order and way of doing things and our new order won’t be complete until Pluto fully moves into Aquarius on 24th January 2024.
Pluto makes its first foray into Aquarius on 23rd March 2023, but it moves back into Capricorn on June 12th for a last hurrah, and it will remain there until 21st January 2024.
So, now it the time to take focused action as to that which we want to manifest, not just for 2023 but for the next 20 years.
Yes really!
Mars in Gemini demands focused action
Mars in Gemini demands no less. This Mars direct in Gemini is akin to a warrior coming in advance to warn you of the changes ahead. If you don’t take focused action yourself, Mars going direct will do it for you!
So, check your astrocartography for where you would like to relocate to – even for a short while. Take time off work. Ask for unpaid leave and plan the holiday of a lifetime!
Remember, if you don’t ask, the answer is always no! And when you do ask, the answer is often yes! Relocating for a short time, or for longer, gives you a fresh perspective.
- Your Venus planetary lines may mean you feel more valued, as mine do in Portugal for example, where I have an exciting astrology retreat planned for this October.
- Your Mercury line in astrocartography may mean you feel more heard and that it is easier to write and communicate.
- Your Mars line can indicate focused action. If Mars is challengingly aspected in your chart, moving close to a Mars line really, really helps.
