Pluto in Capricorn, how Space Clearing and Feng Shui can help!

Pluto in Capricorn…

On 1st September this week, we had good ol’ Pluto reverting back into the Saturn ruled sign of Capricorn, where it stays until 19th November, bringing up God knows how many power issues right in the middle of one of the most historic US Presidential elections ever.

I have spoken constantly this year of how the months leading up to this last sweep of everything Capricornian in our lives is akin to us having built a new house, finished the outer and inner structures, finalised the painting and decorating, yet when we go to move in we find we can’t even put the key in the front door cos there is a huge pile of rubble still to be cleared that the builders left behind. All that to do before we can even turn the key and enter the doorway into our whole new world!

That’s the feeling these next few weeks will invoke and only intensify. I can finally smile as I write this as I have been having exactly the same experience while selling my house! My solicitor unexpectedly asked for a copy of my marriage cert and my divorce cert. I ranted and raved, as I had torn both certs up decades ago, and pleaded with him to explain why I did not need them when buying the house, but suddenly needed to produce them while selling the house.

So yesterday I signed off on an affadavit instead.

Just three rewrites.

Not bad.

These last few weeks coming up are also about us standing fearlessly in our own power like never before. I have had three larger than life examples of it this week alone. My second laptop (only recently repaired) went raput again. I asked for a refund. No luck but I at least stood in my power by asking. The computer guy will get his karma back some other way, and in the meantime I had the excitement of realising I no longer need to deal with West Cork shops who provide shoddy service but I could choose to drive into Cork city where indeed I did find great service. It was so good I got the confidence to trust I could painstakingly transfer all my data onto my MAC and if I got stuck with anything, the far better shop in Cork city also offered back up service!

And no, I did not need to buy a new laptop to avail of the tech support service!

While I was at it, I decided to further empower myself by researching how much it would cost to upgrade my over used phone. Turns out not only will it cost me nothing but I can also get €100 cashback too when I switch!

So a week which started off easily enough had become one where I took the approach of – “it’s a real nuisance to have to transfer all my data but lets make sure I do some clearing of files and do it thoroughly while I do it”. I was actually really calm when the previous laptop froze as my first thought was, “Thank goodness I have a great admin assistant who only a week earlier had transferred everything over”.

And as I have said to several people this week, I have a feeling the planets are currently picking on us astrologers first to teach us their planetary transit lessons! How often have you all heard me refer to the fact that Solar Fire runs through Windows Parallel on a MAC! So what’s my next tech project! Yup, that very one!

Which brings me to the topic of how deep clutter clearing following by space clearing with a good dollop of Feng Shui can really help you all during these coming months.

When clutter clearing, its always good to start with the least emotional part of the house – the bathroom and kitchen. My latest rule, and it has become a stringent one, if you are not sure about an item, let it go. I have dithered about my expensive sailing gear for over a year now, When I finally let it to go a sailing charity it felt so good. For me, my new sailing gear will be lightweight and fit me properly!

I even cleared over half of my astrology books! To make room for the artistic life which I am embodying more and more of.

If you keep something you hardly use because of how much it cost you, let it go, let it go, let it go. It will leave room for much higher vibration items to come into your life.

I can’t believe how much lighter I feel with only one laptop. My late daughter’s laptop got cleared not so long ago, along with her hard drive and memory stick. Then both my laptops crashed – both are now gone. Then I cleared the second back up hard drive and several memory sticks.

Digital clutter is now far worse than visible clutter. Photos – oh dear lord – they are everywhere! Not just on your phone or camera, but your hard drive, the Cloud, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp. I’ve cleared hard copies of photos 12 times these last few years as I also inherited all Ruth’s photos but my digital ones have taken far longer to clear.

Let all the digital clutter go too.

Those emails. Take two or three sittings a month – about two hours each time to stay on top of digital clutter. It is so worth it. File those emails (note to self!). I am now also taking the view of replacing my tech stuff every year instead of trying to make it last. I’ve had the lovely lesson this week of remembering how much I love MAC’s, how much more intuitive they are.

This MAC is eh…already five years old. It’ll do me for another while but when my house sale is complete, a new one is the first thing I’ll buy. And no I won’t keep this one as back up just in case. I’ll give it to a good home.

So if you haven’t used (or worn!) something in over a year, you no longer need it. Period. Yes really! I have butter soft expensive Italian boots which I haven’t worn since November last…..they cost a lot, I could afford them. That’s not the point. They don’t fit into my new life going forward. Let someone else love them.

And hilariously the three parcels of stuff I posted forward to Ireland never arrived. They can be traced. But will I miss what I posted on? No! I could have spent that time at the beach or going to yoga instead of hanging round the post office! Even more hilariously, two of the books I posted on were Karen and Richard Kingston’s new books on Space Clearing! Some higher power obviously decided I don’t need them!

And at a basic level, space clearing starts with keeping your home clean. Including windows and garden. Not just washing up after each meal, but drying and putting everything away. I used to just leave the dishes to dry and have started putting them away (dry not wet!). The difference on walking into an ueber spotless kitchen in the morning is tangible. It lifts my spirits.

Feng Shui then goes hand and hand with all of the above. It is the art of living, loving and working in the optimum places in your home.

Decorating each room for maximum support. Positioning the furniture for optimum support, along with ensuring that the furniture is in proportion to the room. That’s a big one. Setting a clear intention for each room. It’s no coincidence that my lovely home here in Courtmacsherry went under offer in nine days. Why? because it had been Feng Shui’d and Space Cleared and the highest possible intention set for each room. Did I want to spend a week cleaning it when I came back from Portugal? No! But I did. Did I want to keep getting small stuff sorted, no not really. But I did. Turns out it’s a large Irish American family buying it and several family members viewed it together. How lovely. How touching.

This stuff works folks.

And with Pluto in Capricorn there has never been a better time to spend from now till 19th November clearing at the deepest level like never before. Including friends who no longer serve you. It’s been interesting to see the reaction to my selling my house here. Some nay sayers, but others saying how exciting to be having new adventures.

Which it is!

Along the way of writing this blog I decided to buy a second laptop after all. I also decided to stand my ground with that computer shop, and the local computer guy will be brought to court for a refund. His sloppy service has taken vast amounts of my time these last three weeks (and beforehand). This folks is the embodiment of Pluto in Capricorn…standing up to “figures of authority” as we could claim tech people are. They know more than us, right? We need them, right? Yeah well, they need us too!

My seemingly never ending tech challenges recently have also deeply tested my love of astrology. I love it, I am really good at it but as time goes on, I love art and writing more. So this week has also been spent planning out my new art website, which when built, will be run via my astrology website for a while.

Turbulent times indeed. Can you handle it?! Of course you can! Take lots of rest and breaks, more than you think you need. Keep everything simple. Remove all distractions.

We have just had the New Moon in Virgo on 2nd September and I’ve never seen so many people out pruning and tidying their gardens in my life! Hedgerows being cut back, bushes, trees, you name it. The lot!

There is a beautiful simplistic earthiness to doing this kind of work. Being of service to the land which supports our bodies. How beautiful.

I have, as you many have noticed, recently also taken a big step back from social media. This is partly because I continue to be slandered online since my late daughter’s death three years ago and it has taken much more out of me than I had wanted to admit. My newsletters will now also go out every month, instead of every week, and my booking calendar reopens in October. I’ll be moving my focus more towards blogging about what is happening currently with the collective planetary energy and share those blogs online as and when.

This will allow me more energy and time to focus on painting and writing more of which anon.

Bless you all for reading. What a time we have all chosen to live through!
