What a beautiful time of the year Solstice Season is, especially here in West Cork, where we are lucky enough to have daylight until after 11pm.
This solstice is a fiery expansive one with the Moon conjunct Jupiter in Aries, along with Mars and Chiron in Aries. Aries is such warrior energy, ruled as it is by Mars. Act – don’t think! Well, after the last two years that might be nice advice for a change!
Take some time this solstice season to think about what action would you most like to see happen. Jupiter conjunct the Moon can manifest in a wish to travel, and so this might be a good time to consider an astrocartography reading. I have a number of posts here on my blog about how you can prepare yourself for a reading and open your heart to the prospect of a move, whether it’s for a holiday or a more permanent relocation following a work change or life event.
In its other manifestations, Jupiter conjunct moon can bring you expanded emotions. Or maybe fiery arguments! Well, why not?! It is all about bigger, more expansive energies, so this might be a time to get those feelings out, and say how you really really feel. How cleansing, with Chiron there to help!
Remember that Chiron heals our wounds, and while there’s great comfort in his presence you might find that the idea of the wound also dominates this time for you. There may be a theme, for some of us, which means that we are still feeling wounded and that is tied up in the actions we take. And that can bring hesitancy and caution as we try to weigh up if the move we are making is too impulsive or too informed by grief and loss.
If you feel the desire to hesitate this Solstice Season then, do so. Give your intuition space to breathe. Mars doesn’t always have to have the last word!
